Boiling Eggs With a Generous Amount of Water in a Pressure Cooker is Convenient!

When I made a simmered veggie dish in my pressure cooker, I realized that if I added in eggs, I had a perfect amount of water to boil them.

If you cook them for too long, the eggs get hard. They only need enough heat so once it's bubbling and up to pressure, kill the heat.

Cooking the eggs in the pressure cooker makes them easier to peel, and it's just easier in general so this is great! For up to 10 eggs. Recipe by gh97923

  • 1up to 10 eggs Fresh eggs
  • 200 mlWater

Steps

  1. 1

    Add the eggs and water into a pressure cooker and cover with a lid. Turn on the heat.

  2. 2

    Once the pin rises and it's up to pressure, cut the heat and let it sit for 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Confirm that the pin and gone back down, open the lid and peel the eggs in cold water.
