Ingredients

  1. 2.2 poundschicken breasts, sliced
  2. 1/4 cupvegetable oil
  3. 1/4 cupapple cider vinegar or white vinegar
  4. 1 tablespooncrushed garlic with 1/4 teaspoon salt (can substitute with garlic powder)
  5. 1/2 teaspooncumin
  6. 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper
  7. 1 teaspoonpaprika
  8. 1/4 teaspoonturmeric
  9. 1 teaspoonsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl and add the chicken, mixing well.

    Cover the bowl well and place it in the refrigerator for at least a full day to let the chicken absorb the marinade (you can use a ziplock bag instead of a covered bowl).

    Take the bowl out of the refrigerator and place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet, letting them sit for about 30 minutes to reach room temperature.

    Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 392°F (200°C).

    Place the baking sheet on the lowest rack in the oven and bake for 7 minutes.

    Then flip the chicken to the other side and bake for an additional 5 minutes (note: the chicken may need more time depending on the oven used).

    Check if the chicken is cooked through. If not, return the baking sheet to the oven for a few more minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.

    Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
