Ingredients

30 minutes
Makes 20 fitters
  • 2 cuppearl millet (Bajra)
  • 1/4 cupwhole wheat flour
  • 2 tspnolen gur
  • 1 tspcarrom seeds
  • 2 tspsesame seeds
  • 2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • 2 tspcoriander-cumin seeds powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 1 pinchcooking soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Wet ingredients : 👇
  • 2 tspoil for moin
  • 1/4 cupcurds
  • 1 cupmethi washed, cleaned & chopped
  • 1/4 cupcoriander, chopped
  • Oil for frying

Steps

    Assemble dey & wet ingredients separately. Then add wet ingredients into dry ingredients & mix well.

    Make a soft dough.Take a small portion & flatten it into a flat disc. Make all discs like this.

    Heat oil in a pan. Put 4-5 discs at a time into the hot oil. Fry them on medium to slow flame.

    Remove the discs when golden. Cool completely & store in an airtight container. These pearl millet discs last for 2-3 days. Serve them with tea / coffee / milkshake/ smoothie.
