1. Peel, Wash and chop carrots and transfer it in a heavy bottomed karahi. Cook it on low flame till its water dries up.

2. Now add 1 litre milk and let it simmer on low flame till milk is absorbed by carrots. This process takes 40 - 50 minutes. In between keep stirring and mash it with a masher.

3. Add green cardamom powder, dry fruits and melon seeds and mix well.

4. Add ghee. Mix well. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes

5. Now add sugar and stir well and cook till sugar dissolves completely in carrots. Keep on stirring continuously as after mixing sugar carrots may burn if not stir continuously.

6. Serve hot with milk or as a dessert after meal.
