Steps
- 1
Add milk in a pot and keep it on a high flame to boil. Meanwhile grind cashews, almonds, green cardamom and sugar along with milk to a smooth paste. When the milk boils add this prepared paste to the milk mix it well and allow it to boil again then lower the flame for 2 minutes and then add the dissolved custard to it. Simply mix 1 tbsp custard with 1 tbsp water and add to the milk. Mix it really well so that it won't stick to the bottom. Cook it for 2 minutes on low flame.
- 2
Cook so that the rawness of the custard goes away. You can use any flavour of custard or if you don't want to add custard you can use corn starch in same quantity. The purpose of these things is only to thicken a milk a little bit. Then off the flame and allow it to cool down. Once cool down add the red syrup along with soaked chia seeds and mix well. Red syrup is totally optional you can skip it or can use any other colour syrup like green or orange or of any colour.
- 3
Then add half of the chopped almonds to it mix it and pour into serving glasses. Serve cold or chilled or at room temperature totally your choice. Top them with some more chopped almonds and serve. You can even add icecubes to it and believe me it's tastes divine.
Make it and enjoy it with your loved ones.
Happy Cooking🥰
