Ingredients

6-8 people
  1. 4 TBSoil separated
  2. 2 slicesbell pepper
  3. 1 sliceonion
  4. 3 1/2 lbsBeef stew meat cut in cubes
  5. 1 tspor so of garlic powder
  6. 1 tspor so of ground cumin
  7. to tastesalt
  8. to tastepepper
  9. 1small can of tomato sauce
  10. 1 tspKnorr tomato
  11. Water
  12. 2 TBSflour

Steps

  1. 1

    Place 2 TBS oil, bell pepper, onion to sauté for about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add meat and brown for about 10-15 minutes covered on medium heat stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

    Add about 2-3 cups of water. Let it simmer on medium heat for another 10-15 minutes covered stirring occasionally.

  4. 4

    Add garlic powder, cumin, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and Knorr. Let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes covered stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    While the meat is simmering, heat 2 TBS oil in a small sauté pan and add flour over medium-low heat. Stir the flour and oil constantly until the flour turns a light golden brown. (About 5 minutes) Add to the meat and continue to simmer for about another 10-15 minutes covered stirring occasionally.

  6. 6

    Ready to serve.
