Ingredients

Serves 4-5 servings
  • 14 ozcod
  • 1 1/2 tablespoonssoy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoonssake
  • 1 tablespoonmirin
  • 1 tablespoonoyster sauce
  • 1 clovegarlic, grated
  • 1 cloveginger, grated
  • as neededPotato starch,
  • as neededAll-purpose flour,
  • as neededOil for frying,

Steps

    I got a half fillet of cod.

    Remove the skin and bones, and cut into bite-sized pieces.

    Marinate with the ☆ seasonings. Let it sit for at least 1 hour.

    Mix equal parts all-purpose flour and potato starch. Drain the cod and coat it with the flour mixture. Fry in oil at about 340°F until crispy.

    Enjoy while hot!
