Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cuprice
  2. 1 cuplentils (or 3/4)
  3. 1big onion (or more to taste)
  4. 1 tspcinnamon
  5. 1 tspsalt (to taste)

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the rice and soak it for 30 minutes

  2. 2

    Slice the onion (moon shape)

  3. 3

    Fry the onion till it gets dark brown

  4. 4

    Add the lentils and mix with the onions

  5. 5

    Add water to the mix (1cm above the mix)

  6. 6

    Cover and let it boil for about 10 minutes. Check the lentils by then; it should be almost done (not totally soft)

  7. 7

    Add the rice, the spices, done water (1cm above the mix) and stir

  8. 8

    Once it boils, turn down the heat, cover and let it simmer

  9. 9

    In 20 minutes, the food should be ready.
