Ingredients

Makes 4 buns
  • 1 cupbread flour (about 125 grams)
  • 1/4 cupall-purpose flour (about 35 grams)
  • 2 teaspoonssugar (about 10 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt (about 3 grams)
  • 2 tablespoonsmilk (about 30 ml)
  • 1/3 cupwater (about 75 ml)
  • 2 teaspoonsunsalted butter (about 10 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoondry yeast (about 2 grams)

Steps

  1. 1

    Add all ingredients except dry yeast to the bread machine. Place the dry yeast in the yeast container and start the dough course.

  2. 2

    After the first rise, divide the dough into 4 pieces and reshape into balls. Cover with a tightly wrung-out cloth and let rest for 15 minutes.

    Reshape into balls again, place in molds, press down slightly to flatten, and let rise a second time. Use the oven's proofing function for 40 minutes.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes.

    Slice in half and fill with your favorite ingredients. Enjoy!
