Rinse the rice. Add water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low and simmer.

If the water reduces too much while cooking, add enough to just cover the rice. After about 25 minutes, check the texture of the rice.

Mix in the ginger, chicken bouillon, and salt and pepper. Simmer briefly. Drizzle with sesame oil to finish.
