Cooking Instructions

Slice the chicken breast thinly on the bias, then cut into 30 pieces.

Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and season with the soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Place a piece of chicken and a 2-inch (5 cm) piece of garlic chive (or green onion) on each gyoza wrapper.

Fold and roll up the wrapper to enclose the filling.

Repeat until you have 30 stick gyoza.

Heat a little vegetable oil in a skillet. Arrange the gyoza seam-side up. Cook over low heat until the bottoms are golden brown.

Flip the gyoza, cover with a lid, and steam-fry for 3 minutes.

Transfer to a plate and serve.
