No heavy cream needed! This dessert is perfect for a hot day.

I wanted to enjoy delicious ice cream at home on a hot day when going outside felt like a hassle.
Steps

First, separate the egg yolk and egg white into different bowls. Whip the egg white until it forms soft peaks, then add half of the sugar and whip again.

Add the remaining sugar and whip until stiff peaks form. This completes the meringue.

Add the egg yolk to the bowl with the meringue and mix well.

Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for about 1 hour.

Remove from the freezer and mix well while adding milk. At this time, also add vanilla extract.

Freeze for about 3 hours. (Check every hour.)

(Note) If you freeze for 3 hours straight, the top half may become fluffy while the bottom half becomes icy. Be sure to check.
