Cooking Instructions
- 1
Combine broken chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 1 minute and 30 seconds to melt. You can also use a double boiler.
- 2
Once the chocolate is melted by the heat of the butter, add the eggs and sugar, and mix well with a whisk.
- 3
Finally, sift in the combined dry ingredients (cake flour, cocoa, and baking powder) and gently fold with a spatula until no dry flour remains.
- 4
Spoon the batter into cups and bake in a preheated oven at 320°F (160°C) for 18 minutes or until done.
- 5
Once baked, cool on a wire rack and finish by dusting with powdered sugar.
- 6
Wrap with items from the dollar store for a perfect gift. The cups and ribbons are from Daiso.
- 7
To achieve a darker color like Oreos, replace half of the cocoa with black cocoa. The photo shows 15g red cocoa and 5g black cocoa.

The ingredients and preparation are simple, but it's got a distinct chocolate taste. I like a strong and sweet gateau au chocolat. This one is very simple.Be careful not to put any water in. Wipe any moisture completely from your utensils with tissue paper (cutting the chocolate on a wet chopping board will lead to failure).Just mix with a whisk, it's very simple. No need to whisk the eggs. Recipe by simplelife126 cookpad.japan -
Real Gateau Chocolate Cake For Valentine's Day Real Gateau Chocolate Cake For Valentine's Day
Started with a recipe I learned in culinary school and changed the steps and amounts to something that's easier for me to make. I always make it with a modest level of sweetness for healthiness, but my family loves sweets so I made them a rich cake for Valentine's Day.Once you've melted the chocolate do the following steps quickly so that it doesn't harden. Cooking time will vary depending on the oven. If you reduce the baking time the center chocolate will be creamier. You can also add some liquor (about a tablespoon), cool, then top with powdered sugar. 1/3 Amounts: makes 4 in a muffin pan, bake for 20 minutes at 170℃. This is a once-a-year special, rich cake. Please adjust the amount of sugar to your liking. Recipe by nathu cookpad.japan -
Steamed Rice Flour Gateau au Chocolat for Valentine's Day Steamed Rice Flour Gateau au Chocolat for Valentine's Day
I tried making various sweets with rice flour, but it didn't seem to match well with oil, which I assumed was a necessary ingredient. It's really light with rice flour, so I added cocoa powder and soy milk, which has just the right amount of fat. It's really delicious!Wrap the lid of the steamer with a cloth (to prevent condensation from dripping onto the cakes). You can also use milk instead of soy milk. I used 130 ml of soy milk, which is 100 ml + 2 tablespoons. These cakes are still moist and delicious the following day. Recipe by Asamato cookpad.japan -

Simple Gateau au Chocolat With Cocoa Simple Gateau au Chocolat With Cocoa
I wanted to make a gateau au chocolat for people who are dieting and children who are still being weaned onto solid food so I decided to make one with cocoa. Now the recipe calls for 40 g pure cocoa, but you can still use the previous combination of 30 g pure cocoa and 20 g processed cocoa if you'd prefer.I changed the ingredient amounts and steps a little to prevent the cake from shrinking. For Step 2, if the margarine isn't melting into the mixture very well, try mixing it in over low heat. You can line the cake tin with baking paper if you'd prefer. I love chocolate, but am sick of eating sweet things. I wanted to avoid making it too sweet, but still have a thick, chocolatey gateau, so I came up with this. It doesn't create too many dirty dishes either, which is a bonus. You don't have to be methodical with sifting and straining, just keep checking to see if it looks right when mixing (・ ・)b. Rich Gateau au Chocolat Rich Gateau au Chocolat
I really like rich gateau au chocolat, so I modified the recipe my way.The texture will not turn out right if you over-bake it, so I recommend stopping when a creamy batter comes out when checking with a skewer. If the temperature of the batter goes down, the chocolate will cause the batter to harden, so keep the eggs at room temperature. It is best eaten the next day onward. For 15 cm [5.9 in] round mold.
