Syrian Harissa

Mix all the ingredients together and let the mixture rest for 2 hours.

Grease a baking pan with tahini, spread the harissa mixture evenly, and decorate with nuts. I used sliced almonds for garnish.

Bake in a preheated oven until the bottom is golden brown.

Broil the top until golden, then remove from the oven and pour cold simple syrup over the hot harissa.
