Ingredients

40 minutes
  • 200 gramsArbi
  • 2 teaspoonCumin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoonfennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoonCarrom seeds
  • 8-10Fenugreek seeds
  • to tasteRed chilli powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tablespoonRefined oil

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil arbi, peel and cut into thin slices.

  2. 2

    Dry roast cumin, fennel, mustard, carom and fenugreek, ground into a powder.

  3. 3

    In a non stick karahi, heat oil add in the arbi and cook until slightly crisp and light brown.

  4. 4

    Add in all the spices and mix well.

  5. 5

    Serve with dal and roti/rice.
