Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 7 oz (200 g)cooked rice
  2. 1/3 oz (10 g)dried sakura shrimp
  3. 2 cups (480 ml)water
  4. 1 tablespoonsake
  5. Pinchsalt
  6. 1 teaspoonsoy sauce
  7. 2eggs
  8. Chopped green onions, to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Add the water, sake, salt, and soy sauce to a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Once boiling, add the cooked rice and dried sakura shrimp.

    Reduce to low heat and simmer for about 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    When the rice is plump, beat the eggs and pour them in, stirring gently.

  5. 5

    Cook until the eggs reach your desired doneness.

  6. 6

    Serve in a nice bowl and sprinkle with chopped green onions.

  7. 7

    Your long battle is over—enjoy!
