I saw this delicious-looking 'Easy and Amazing Snack for Drinks' introduced by Chizuru Ohara on BS Premium's 'Atenayoru' and decided to try making it! Recipe background: I happened to see it on TV, but since there were no detailed measurements, I came up with my own amounts! I don't drink alcohol myself, but it's been a big hit with friends who do, and it's become a staple snack in our house!
Spicy Garlic Edamame (Addictive Snack Style)

Use boiled edamame. When preparing, rinse with salted water and boil in salted water, but skip salting after boiling. (You can also use frozen edamame.)

Grate the garlic and mix well with the soy sauce and doubanjiang in a small bowl.

Dry-roast the boiled edamame in a skillet over medium to low heat for about 3 minutes, stirring, until the moisture evaporates but without burning.

Turn off the heat, immediately add the sauce mixture from step 2, and toss to coat the edamame evenly.
