Ingredients

  1. 1 packcrispy Sara Udon noodles
  2. 1 packetSara Udon soup base
  3. As neededgreen cabbage
  4. As neededshiitake mushrooms
  5. As neededonion
  6. As neededcarrot
  7. As neededbean sprouts
  8. As neededpork
  9. As neededshrimp
  10. As neededsquid
  11. As neededkamaboko (fish cake)
  12. As neededchikuwa (fish paste tube)

Steps

  1. 1

    If using frozen shrimp and squid, thaw them first, then rinse with sake to remove any odor.

  2. 2

    Stir-fry the shrimp and squid, then remove from the pan and set aside.

  3. 3

    Stir-fry the pork, then remove from the pan and set aside.

  4. 4

    Stir-fry the cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, onion, and carrot until tender. Add the chikuwa, kamaboko, and bean sprouts, and continue stir-frying.

  5. 5

    Return the shrimp, squid, and pork to the pan. Add the soup base and simmer until the sauce thickens. Pour the mixture over the crispy noodles and serve.
