Ingredients

  • 1-2lbs. tenderized round steak
  • 1onion, chopped
  • 1green bell pepper, chopped, may use any color bell pepper
  • 3-4 tbsp.Oil
  • 1 (14 oz.)can petite chopped tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz)tomato sauce
  • 4 clovesminced garlic
  • to tasteSalt & pepper
  • 1 tbsp.Garlic salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the steak into serving size portions. Season meat with salt & pepper ‘

  2. 2

    Brown steak in oil. Remove steak, set aside. Sauté onions and peppers till almost soft.

  3. 3

    Remove any access oil. I slide veggies from one side to another and use paper towels to remove as much as I can

  4. 4

    Add the steaks back to pan with veggies. Add tomato sauce & tomatoes. Add garlic and seasonings. Stir to mix all ingredients

  5. 5

    Bake, covered, at 350 for about 1 hour- 1 hour & 15 min.

  6. 6

    Good with mashed potatoes or rice
