Ingredients

Serves 3 servings
  1. 1-2potatoes
  2. 1 tablespoonvegetable oil (for use with small potatoes)
  3. 1 teaspoonrice vinegar (for use with small potatoes)
  4. 2 slicessandwich bread (thick cut)
  5. 1 packet(about 2 oz) white sauce (single-use type, Heinz used)
  6. 1 packetmeat sauce (Mama brand used)
  7. 1 tablespooneach chicken soboro (bottled)
  8. 1 sliceAmerican cheese
  9. 2 slicesGouda cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the potatoes and drain them, then sauté in vegetable oil.

    Drizzle with vinegar and let cool slightly.

    Coat a pan with olive oil and sauté the potatoes to coat the surface.

    Wipe off excess oil with a paper towel.

    Mash the potatoes, drizzle with vinegar, and sprinkle with black pepper.

    Once cooled, make mashed potatoes using store-bought white sauce.

    Press down the center of the bread slices with your hand and fill with mashed potatoes.

    Place Gouda cheese slices on top of the mashed potatoes, then spread 1 tablespoon of meat sauce over each.

    After adding the meat sauce, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of chicken soboro over each.

    For depth, place half a slice of cheese on each.

    Bake in a toaster oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes, then cut into pieces for easy serving.
