If you want a Spag Bol that's a bit spicy and not too heavy on tomatoes this is the one. My husband says this is my best one yet.

In med sized sauce pan melt butter.

In blender, put onion, olives, garlic, bell pepper, basil, chilli pepper and olive oil. Blend until it's a chunky liquid.

Add the mixture to the pan and bring to a boil, stirring often.

Add the tomatoes.
- 5
Once sauce reaches a boil, reduce to a simmer and add oregano, marjoram, thyme, bay leaves and wine. Stir well.

In frying pan, cook mince and add to sauce and continue to simmer for 30 minutes.

Serve over cooked pasta.
