Cooking Instructions

In a large pot sauté your ground beef until browned, drain any fat…….

Next add in your chopped onion, green pepper and minced garlic and sauté for several minutes……

Next add to ground beef your taco seasoning, cold water, refried beans, black pepper, crushed red pepper and your frozen bag of diced potatoes, cook on low heat for several minutes…….

Continue to cook until potatoes are completely cooked through……

Add in your container of double cheddar cheese and cook until thoroughly blended, then remove from heat ……..

Place a large spoonful of your meat mixture onto the middle of a wrap, wrap well, then place each burrito into a large baking pan that has been coated with olive oil cooking spray……. Repeat until meat is gone……

Pour your jar of salsa over your burritos and sprinkle your cheese over all ……

Place your baking pan in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake until cheese has completely melted…….

Serve topped with sour cream and enjoy 😉!!!!!

My grandmother made a version of this that was a lot less picky, with just salt, pepper and onion powder. But I've had a pretty positive response to this version, so I like to share it. She served it with soup and Spanish rice. I think it's fine to keep it simple with a salad or some raw veg, like carrots or whatever you like. Jalapeños may be optional but the tang of them is a strong plus, so substitute pepperoncini if jalapeños are too spicy. terrapin -
