To begin with, roast the vermicelli in ghee. Cook till it turns golden brown. Remove from fire and keep aside to let it cool.

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them crackle. Next cumin seeds, asafoetida, and the curry leaves. Cook for a few seconds.

Add onion and saute it until golden brown. Then add capsicum and carrot. Saute it for 3-4 minutes.

Now add tomatoes, salt and all the spices mentioned above. Mix it well and cook it for 2 minutes.

Add water and allow the mixture to simmer for a minute.

Add the roasted vermicelli, mix and cook covered for 5minutes.

Finally, serve hot and enjoy.
