Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Mix in eggs and vanilla

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture and blend thourghly

Stir in oats and chocolate chips.

Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake 10-12 minutes.
