Roll out the pastry to a large square or rectangle and brush with the melted spread

Combine the sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over and pat down

Cut into inch-wide strips

Hold strips by both ends. Hold one end high and twist. Gravity will help you form the strips into 'ringlets'

Place on the lined baking sheet and put in the oven for 12 - 14 minutes until golden and puffed

Let cool then drizzle with simple icing - 120g powdered sugar beaten with 1 tbsp safe spread, 1 tbsp milk and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Add more milk if required for thinning
