Ingredients

30 minutes
  • 3 cupmoong dal (yellow)
  • 8-10curry leaves
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 inchginger
  • 3green chilli
  • 3 tsprice flour
  • 3 tspsemolina
  • Salt to taste
  • 6-8black pepper
  • 3 tbscurd
  • 1/2 tspsugar
  • For topping:
  • 1chopped tomato
  • 1chopped onion
  • 1chopped capsicum
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • Oil for cooking
  • 1/2 tspbaking soda

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash dal thoroughly, soak for over night. Drain water, in a mixer jar add all the ingredients, make a smooth batter.

    Add sugar for taste and crunch. Rest for 1/2 an hour.

    Add baking soda, put on non-stick pan, add chopped topping. Flip on other side.

    Serve hot with sambhar and chutney.
