Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  • 1 cuppuffed rice,(murmure)
  • 1 cupbesan
  • Small bunch palak chopped
  • 1 big onion sliced length wise
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • 3 green chillies
  • 4-6 garlic cloves
  • 1 small piece of ginger
  • Turmeric powder
  • chilli powder
  • coriander powder
  • salt as per your taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 1/4 tspFruit salt

Steps

    Take all the ingredients together

    Soak murmure in water for ten minutes.Squeez and keep aside.

    In a mixer jar add green chillies, coriander seeds, garlic cloves, ginger and grind coarsely.

    In a big mixing bowl add squeezed murmure,
    sliced onion, chopped palak, chopped coriander leaves, ground masala salt, turmeric coriander powder, chilli powder and cumin seeds. Mix well.

    Now add besan and fruit salt and activate it.Mix well by hands.Don't add water.

    Heat oil in a karahi.Make vadas pressing by palms.Add this to karahi.Fry till reddish brown from both sides..Serve hot with fried chillies.
