Boil,peel and mash potatoes.

Scrap,slice and boil lotus root.

Mix together coating ingredients.

Mix together filling ingredients.

Mix together batter ingredients and make a runny batter by gradually adding water.

Take some potato mixture.

Put lotus root in it.

Fold to make a ball.

Dip in batter.

Heat oil in a wok.

Deep fry till light golden.

Serve hot.
