Moong Dal Khichdi

Wash the rice properly. Add water and soak it. Take a pan roast dal till change the colour. Then soak dal.

Take a pressure cooker add ghee. Let it heat. Add cauliflower. Fry it for 2-3 minutes. Then add potato. Fry it for 2-3 minutes. Take it out in a plate. In the same cooker add 2-3 tbsp ghee. Add all spices. Stir it. Then add crushed ginger and chilli. Stir it.

Cover it and stir after 2-3 minutes on low flame. Khichdi is ready now.

#For_Tadka:- Take a pan add ghee. Let it heat. Add asafoetida, cumin seeds, dry red chilli, cashews and kashmiri red mirch powder. Stir it. Add tadka on khichdi. Add garam masala and coriander leaves. Mix everything well.

Add beans, pumpkin and carrot roast it for 1-2 minute. Add rice and dal. Roast it for 1-2 minute. Add tomato, green peas, potato and cauliflower. Mix everything well for 1-2 minute. Add hot water and mix again.

Khichdi is ready to serve. Serve it hot and enjoy with pickle, curd and papad....😋😋
