Bengal Gram Halvah Balls

Steps

Soak bengal gram in water for 2 hours then drain completely.

Cook till bengal gram and milk till bengal gram is tender and milk is absorbed.

Leave it to cool completely.

Blend it into a smooth paste.

Melt butter in a pan.

Add in blended paste and cook it on very low heat until it turns light golden.

Add in sugar and stir till sugar dissolves.

Mix in almond flour,cardamom and saffron and stir for 5-10 minutes till halvah has thickened and comes together.

Leave it to cool.

Make balls of this mixture.

Roll in coconut.

Serve straight away.
