Heat all ingredients on stove top until it's a deep golden brown or the heat reaches 285 degrees F, stirring occasionally. Pour onto a lined and sprayed baking sheet immediately. Spread to desired thickness, let sit 5 minutes. Add 1 c chocolate chips to the top, let sit 5 minutes. Chocolate chips will have melted, spread to an even layer, add crushed peanuts or my favorite is chopped almonds. Set up in fridge for 1 hour, break into pieces and try not to eat it all in one go.
