Cut dudhi and potatoes into chunks. Heat up oil in a pressure cooker, crackle mustard. Add asafoetida powder, turmeric powder, veggies, chilli powder and salt. Combine everything well.

Sauté for about 3 min. Add water till the surface of the veggies. Bring it to a boil. Close the lid and allow it to whistle 3 to 4 times. Let it cool completely.

Open the lid and put the cooker on the stove again. Add sugar and lemon when it starts to boil. Allow it to cook until ypu get the right consistency. Garnish with chopped coriendar leaves. Serve hot with khichdi/rice and bhkhri.
