1 lwater
1 lmilk
100 gsugar
5 gcardamom pods, crushed
1cinnamon stick, broken
5 gcloves
10 gfresh ginger, grated
15black peppercorns, crushed
pinchnutmeg
20 gloose black tea

In a saucepan, add all the spices and sugar to the water and bring to boil. Let it simmer for 15 minutes.

Add the tea and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

Add the milk and strain through a kitchen towel, squeezing at the end to get all the liquid out.

Serve in tea cups.
