Tomatoes Sandwich

This is my take on a regular tomato sandwich. I don't like cold tomatoes and who doesn't love cheese. Cheese always makes everything better.
Tomatoes Sandwich
This is my take on a regular tomato sandwich. I don't like cold tomatoes and who doesn't love cheese. Cheese always makes everything better.
Steps
- 1
Cut the steak tomatoes to your desired thickness. As your putting them in a container put shake a little salt on each individual tomato. Put in fridge over night or 24 hours is better.
Side note you can cut multiple tomatoes and put salt in them and keep them in the fridge upto a week for another day.
- 2
Take a pan on low heat. Make two pile bread width and melt the shredded mozzarella. Once melted put the two slices of bread and let them cook until they come off easily.
- 3
Once bread is cooked with cheese put it aside.
- 4
In the same pan, put a little butter let it melt. Take one or two tomatoes (your choice) and lightly saute one side. After a couple minutes flip it and put the desired sliced cheese. And cover the pan to help melt the cheese.
Side note I like two tomatoes at a time so I put one slice on each tomato.
- 5
While cheese is melting take your bread and spread mayonnaise on it.
- 6
Once the tomato are cooked and cheese is melted to perfection put them in the bread.
- 7
Once in the bread, sprinkle some pepper and put the top bread in it.
- 8
And now you're all done and enjoy my version of tomato sandwich.
Side note, I love eating my sandwich with baked potatoes chips.
