Scrap,wash and cut lotus into medium thick slices.

Boil lotus till tender.

Boil,peel and blend potatoes into a smooth paste.

Add potatoes,colour and all the spices along with 3 cups of water in a pan.

Let it simmer rapidly.

Add in lotus and cook till it slightly thickens.

Mix in remaining ingredients.
- 8
Serve straight away.
