Mix and soak all the dals in warm water for 20 mts. Pressure cook upto 5 whistles, with turmeric and bay leaves

Now heat a pan add ghee and oil, add cumin seeds, dry red chillies, elaichi, asofedita. Add ginger paste, onion tomato and salt. Saute for 5mts.

Add cooked dal, spices,and mix well. Cook for about 5 mts. Add chopped coriander and serve with steamed basmati rice
