Ingredients

10 minutes
2-3 servings
  1. 1 cupcooked rice (Sona masoori rice)
  2. 3/4 cupsprouted moong
  3. 1onion sliced
  4. 1green chilli chopped
  5. 1/2 cupchopped tomatoes
  6. 1/2 cupgreen coriander leaves
  7. 2 Tspvegetable oil
  8. 2 Tspghee/ clarified butter
  9. 2bay leaves
  10. 1 Tspor as required salt
  11. 1/4 Tspturmeric powder
  12. 2green cardamom seeds
  13. 1/2 Tspcumin seeds
  14. 1/2 Tsp dry ginger powder
  15. 1 Tspcoriander powder

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat ghee and oil in a kadhai. Add bay leaves, cardamom seeds. Saute on low flame till aromatic. Add cumin seeds and allow to crackle.

    Fry sliced onion till golden brown, add chopped green coriander leaves and saute on low heat.

    Add moong daal sprouts and roast both on low flame. Then mix ginger powder and coriander powder with the masala and mix nicely.

    Now add the cooked rice, tomatoes salt and turmeric powder. Mix well with a light hand and add half a cup of water.

    Again mix well and allow the water to be absorbed by rice 🍚. Garnish the Pulao with chopped green coriander and mint leaves and serve hot. Thanks
