Ingredients

  • 1 kglamb chops ( cut into pieces)
  • 100 mlolive oil
  • 6potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 3large tomatoes sliced
  • 1onions chopped
  • 1 tbspchopped parsley
  • 4 clovesgarlic
  • 2bay leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsppaprika
  • 300 mlwhite wine
  • 1green peppers cut into thin strips

    Pour the oil into a deep roasting tin.

  2. 2

    Place a layer of the sliced potatoes on the bottom then follow this with a layer of onion and then sliced tomato.

  3. 3

    Place the meat on top then cover with the strips of green pepper, whole garlic cloves (not peeled), chopped parsley and bay leaves finally topping with another layer of sliced potatoes and tomatoes - sprinkle over the paprika and season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Pour the white wine over everything and place the casserole dish in a preheated oven (180 degrees) and cook for approximately 2 hours until the meat is well cooked.
