Assemble ingredients

Roast Makhana for a few minutes till turns aromatic and crispy.
Roast Almonds and keep aside.
Keep a handful of Makhana and grind the remaining into grainy powder. - 3
In pan add milk and wait for a boil, then simmer milk under low to medium flame for 4-5 minutes. Add ghee in this stage.

Add sugar and allow to melt and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Then add whole roasted Makhana and cook for 7-8 minutes under low flame. Add cardamom also.

Now add the Makhana powder and further cook for a few minutes like 2-3 minutes. Add almond and stir well.

By now mixture thickens, and stir well. Simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Kheer is done and allow to cool. Add Raisins after cooling. Pour into serving bowl and Serve.
Garnish with almonds and cashews.
