Ingredients

1 hour prep, 5 hour freeze

  • 1 1/2 cupfull cream unsweetened organic shredded coconut flesh, 75 grams
    California Farm Fresh Organic Coconut Milk and Cream
  • 1 1/2 cup203F degree water, 375 grams
  • 1/4 cupagave syrup
  • 1 Tspvanilla bean extract
    California Farm Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Tspflaked seasalt
  • Equipment: food processor, dough maker, stainless steel bowl
  • Cost: 1 1/2 cup of shredded coconut flesh is 60 cents, syrup, vanilla, salt is $1, ice cream $1.60

Steps

1 hour prep, 5 hour freeze
  1. 1

    Reconstitute the coconut cream milk: 1 1/2 cup shredded coconut, 1 1/2 cup warm water, process in food processor till smooth, pour into dough maker.

    Add syrup, vanilla, salt, churn in stainless steel dough maker, freeze. Serve.

I got certified by the University of California Master Gardener Program in 2005. I try to bring out the original flavor of ingredients, then add layers of spices, herbs and flavorings that enhance, not distort the taste.
