Ingredients

2 people
  1. 1 cupwhole Bajra (soaked at whole night)
  2. 1/2 cupsoaked moong dal
  3. 1chopped onion
  4. 2 chopped green chilies
  5. 1 tbspchopped garlic
  6. 1/4 cup peanuts
  7. 1/4 cupgrated carrots
  8. 1 cup chopped methi leaves
  9. 7-8curry leaves
  10. 2 tbspgrated coconut
  11. 1 tbspoil
  12. 1/4 tbspmustard seeds
  13. 1:4 tbsp cumin seeds
  14. 1/4 tbspasafoetida
  15. 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  16. 1/4 tbspturmeric powder
  17. 1/4 tbspsalt or according to taste
  18. 2 tbsp chopped coriander

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    In pressure cooker add soaked Bajara and soaked moong dal add turmeric powder and salt and cook it for 10 minutes.

    Heat a pan add oil add mustard seeds,cumin seeds, when it cracked add asafoetida,curry leaves,green chilies,chopped onion chopped garlic and soute it for 30 seconds

    Add peanuts,grated carrots and chopped methi leaves, soute it for 30 seconds.

    Add cooked Bajara and moog dal,add chilli powder,,salt, pepper turmeric powder.and mix it well,cook it for 5 minutes.add ghee and ready your bajara khichadi garnish with coriander and grated coconut and serve hot.
