EBT’s Chocolate “Crack” Candy

EBT stands for “Eddie Back There”. How he got the initials, at the time there were 3 Eddies in our church choir. Eddie on the organ, Eddie on the “skit” team, and Eddie on the back row. The choir director called for Eddie, they answered, “which one?” She said Eddie back there, and the nickname stuck. He makes the BEST chocolate candy. I asked when he was going to bring more EBT Crack. He gave me his recipe. #GlobalApron 2024

Chocolate-Flavored Caramel Candies Chocolate-Flavored Caramel Candies
I'm always making caramel candies, but it's the season for Valentine's and I thought a chocolate-flavored version would be delicious.Since I had low-fat organic cream in the refrigerator I used cocoa powder. My boyfriend and I were all smiles. These are soft, and it seems a lot of people took issue with that.If they're still soft after freezing again, and mix very well over low heat until they stiffen. For 50 small pieces. Recipe by Urupi- cookpad.japan -
