Fruitkhand
Steps
- 1
First heat the milk. After it cools a little i.e. when it is warm add one spoon of curd and stir well. Keep it covered for 4-5 hours to get a nice curd. After curdling, tie the curd tightly in a muslin cloth and hang it on a hook and place an empty pan below it so that the water in the curd will gradually collect in the pot. After 4-5 hours, a thick hung curd will form.
- 2
Take this prepared chakka I.e hung curd in a bowl and add mango pulp, sugar, Pinch of salt, cardamom and fresh cream. Usually, as much sugar as the chakka is enough.
- 3
Beat it for a minute. Do not beat too much or it may become thin.
- 4
The fruits of your choice should be washed and peeled and chopped very finely. Depending on the availability, seasonal fruits can be added.
- 5
Now add all the chopped fruits to the prepared shrikhand. Then add cashew nuts, black currants, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder. Add saffron for decoration and keep it in the fridge to cool. Dessert during meal or after meal Can be served as well.
- 6
Fruitkhand is ready to serve.
