  1. 3 cupsWater
  2. 2 cupsGram flour
  3. 1/2 cupRice flour
  4. 2 TbspChopped green chillies
  5. 1 TbspRoasted ginger
  6. 2 TbspRoasted groundnut flakes
  7. 2 TbspWhite Sesame
  8. 2 TbspDry grated coconut
  9. 1 TbspRed chili powder
  10. 1 TbspCoriander
  11. 1/2 TspTurmeric powder
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1 TspAjwaine
  14. 2 TbspSesame oil
  15. 200 gramsChopped coriander
  16. 3 TbspOil for Shallow fry

Steps

30 Minutes
  1. 1

    Heat water in a nonstick pan and add chopped green chillies and grated ginger.

    Add ground roasted groundnuts, white sesame seeds, dry grated coconut, all spices and salt as per taste.

    Add ajwaine and groundnut oil and mix everything properly.

    Mix everything well and let this water boil for a minute.

    Now add chopped coriander to this water.

    Add gram flour and rice flour.

    Mix everything well and keep stirring it on low heat for a minute.

    Cover the pan and let it cook on low heat for two minutes. After that, after stirring a little again, the gas flame should be switched off if the water is absorbed.

    Apply some oil in a plate and spread the prepared mixture in it and allow it to settle.

    Once it cools completely, it has to be cut into pieces of desired size.

    Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry these pieces.

    So Kothimbir Vadi will be ready to serve.

    I served this vadi with tomato ketchup and Rajkot's famous green chutney.
