Ingredients

1 hour 30 minutes
Serves 2 servings
  1. 2T-bone pork chops (you can substitute with pork shoulder if preferred)
  2. 2Chinese sausages (lap xuong)
  3. 2large eggs
  4. 1tomato or cucumber for serving
  5. 2 clovesgarlic, fried until fragrant
  6. 1small shallot, finely chopped
  7. 3 tablespoonsgood-quality fish sauce (45 ml)
  8. 3 tablespoonsfinely chopped lemongrass (45 ml)
  9. 3 teaspoonssoy sauce (15 ml)
  10. 2 tablespoonssweetened condensed milk (30 ml)
  11. 2 teaspoonsground black pepper (10 ml)
  12. 1 teaspooncurry powder or turmeric powder (5 ml)
  13. 2 tablespoonsvegetable oil or olive oil (30 ml)

    Marinate the pork with all the seasoning ingredients listed above. Adjust to your family's taste. Let the pork marinate for 45 minutes, or overnight for best flavor.

    Place the marinated pork in an air fryer. Set the temperature to 355°F (about 180°C) and cook for about 20 minutes. Flip the pork and cook for another 20 minutes at 340°F.

    Pan-fry the Chinese sausages with a little water until they are soft and evenly golden. Fry two eggs sunny-side up.
