In a baking pan, heat the oil and sauté the onion, then add the garlic and stir.

When the onion changes color, add the pureed tomatoes.

Let it cook down, then add the salt, spices, and seasonings.

Add the chopped herbs and stir, then add the rice and mix well.

Take a cabbage leaf in your hand, place some of the mixture on it, and roll it up.

In a pot, layer some cabbage leaves on the bottom, then arrange the stuffed rolls until just below the rim.

Pour in the broth.

If more broth is needed, add as necessary.

Cover the pot and let the rolls absorb the liquid.

Reduce the heat and add the ghee.
