Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Use a rectangular glass baking dish, 11 inches long by 5 inches wide.
- 2
In a saucepan, add the sugar and heat over medium heat to make the caramel. When it starts to color, add the water gradually, mixing well each time you add water. Pour the caramel into the dish and spread it evenly over the base and sides. Let it cool completely.
- 3
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Prepare for a water bath. In a blender, add all the ingredients and blend well for 5 minutes. Place the dish in a pan for the water bath. This is the texture you should have.
- 4
Place in the oven. When it starts to brown on the surface, cover with aluminum foil until fully cooked. After the time has passed, this is how it should look. Remove from the oven, place on a rack, and let it cool completely. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
- 5
Unmold. Decorate with sweet hearts.
- 6
Decorate with peach slices in syrup and cherries in syrup.
- 7
Place on decorative doilies.
- 8

I really got into the maple syrup-flavored milk pudding of a certain brand. I tried various combinations, and this is my favorite. I have this as a snack over several days.Even though the amounts of cornstarch and kanten are minimal, use a digital scale to measure (even just the slightest variation will change the final product). Use regular milk, not low-fat. Recipe by Yukiline cookpad.japan -

Matcha Pudding Served with Brown Sugar Syrup Matcha Pudding Served with Brown Sugar Syrup
When I made matcha pudding with whole eggs, the color didn't turn out too good. On the other hand, when I used egg whites only, the resulting matcha pudding was beautifully green. The pudding becomes porous if the temperature of the pudding mixture and the hot bath is vastly different. That's why it's important to warm the mixture to a certain extent before soaking it in the hot bath. When it has become too cold, cool down the hot bath slightly and then start simmering. Please serve with some brown sugar syrup - they go really well together. Recipe by twinflower cookpad.japan -

Custard Pudding in a Sauce Pan Custard Pudding in a Sauce Pan
This is the custard pudding that my mother always made using a pot as a double boiler. My kids also love this pudding so I changed it to use smaller amounts of ingredients. The point is the amount of boiling water and the 7 minute + 7 minute rule! If you follow this rule you will get a jiggly and delicious pudding. If the container is too big, it will take too long for the pudding to harden. This is why this recipe makes a perfect 2 containers of pudding. If you want to make more, simply double the ingredients. Recipe by Toiroiro cookpad.japan -

An Indiana favorite. Perfect with a spoon of cool whip on top. This was my favorite growing up, we had three persimmon trees and collected them every fall. I would look forward to this pudding all year. Dan Flynn -
