Ingredients

10 minutes prep + 3 hours chilling in the fridge
6 molds
  1. 1 packagepanna cotta mix
  2. 1 1/4 cupslow-fat milk (300 ml)
  3. 3/4 cupheavy cream (200 ml)
  4. 1 packetsaffron
  5. 6raspberries
  6. Powdered sugar, to taste
  7. Tools
  8. 1saucepan
  9. 1whisk
  10. 6pudding molds
  11. 1cutting board with knife
  12. 1fine mesh strainer
  13. 1glass
  14. Storage
  15. Saffron panna cotta keeps in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, covered with plastic wrap

Steps

10 minutes prep + 3 hours chilling in the fridge

    Pour the panna cotta mix into a saucepan. Slowly add the milk and whisk well. Set aside a few tablespoons of heavy cream in a glass, and add the rest to the saucepan with the milk. Whisk again to prevent lumps.

    Dissolve the saffron in the cream set aside in the glass.

    Bring the saucepan to a boil over the stove, then add the saffron cream.

    Bring to a boil and let simmer on low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour the panna cotta into the molds. Let cool for 1 hour at room temperature, then refrigerate for 2 hours.

    Before serving, dip the molds in hot water for a couple of minutes. Invert the dessert onto a small plate and garnish with a halved raspberry and a dusting of powdered sugar.
