Restaurant style Brownie sizzler

I was absolutely fascinated by the hot and cold texture of this dessert eversince I tasted it for the first time. When I tried to recreate it at home, I was not satisfied with the sauce. This time I nailed it. It was exactly the #restaurant style!

Steps
- 1
Chocolate sauce: make corn flour slurry using a little water at room temperature. Combine milk and sugar in a sauce pan. Heat up till the sugar melts. Add cocoa powder and salt. Combine very well until no lump is seen. Add the corn flour slurry while stirring continuously. Stir and cook until the sauce thickens a bit. We want to. Make the sauce slightly thin because it thickens while bubbling on the sizzling plate.

To assemble : heat up the sizzler plate on high flame for about 15 min or until the smoke is seen. Meanwhile, take the sauce, the ice cream and the brownie to the serving table. Transfer the very hot plate on the wooden coaster and take it to the serving table. Quickly place a piece of brownie on the very hot plate. Place a scoop of ice cream on it. Pour the chocolate sauce over it. Enjoy! Note: use a long dessert spoon in order to protect your hands from the hot steam.
