Take a tender snake gourd,wash thoroughly with water. Cut middle, remove the seeds. Cut into small pieces.

Add coconut,cumin seeds and green chillies into a mixer jar. Grind it coarsely. Keep it aside.

Keep a kadai in medium heat. Add oil, mustard seeds,urad dal,chana dal,curry leaves fry until the dals change into golden colour. Add onions fry till transperent. Then add chopped snake gourd pieces, salt mix well. Now add coarsely grinded coconut.Mix well.

Close the lid. Let it cook for five minutes.Then add grated coconut, mix well. Remove from heat, subji is ready.

Transfer the snake gourd subji to the serving bowl. Tasty snake gourd subji is ready to serve. Enjoy with rice.
